Where do these data brokers who are we talking about what is the cartel? Who are the members of the cartel? And when we say data Brokers are they like how does Westlaw have this information? And what is it that where are they getting the information? And then and then they're selling it to the government which and I'm sure we'll get into this is also a way that the government can get around laws that prohibit the government from doing this type of spying. But now they just say like okay we're just gonna buy it so walk us through that. In fact I think you describe it as a circulatory system I think it is. and walk us through that system. Yeah yeah, this is what I've spent the last five years trying to like it's like I've been making an anatomy diagram of where this data goes and where it comes from. So like you said when we think about data collectors and data companies we think about you know the quote-unquote big five: Google Amazon Apple Microsoft and meta Facebook what have you. And sometimes we think about you know that sometimes we talk about Oracle and these other companies that kind of do data analytics work. It's kind of what they do it is actually hard to figure out and parse. But we don't usually think of information companies and information vendors as part of this group. So what I wanted to do was bring these companies kind of to the party where we're also scrutinizing them and thinking critically about what they do. And the companies that I really honed in on were Lexus Nexus and Thompson Reuters. And that in part is because they're the parent companies for Lexus and Westlaw which are that's where I live right? Those are my world. But they're also uniquely large companies and they weren't always this way.
