On this week's Friday Night Appointment with Fear show, we're seeing what would happen if Superman was born evil. Brightburn sees Elizabeth Banks and David Denman adopt a baby found after a spaceship crashes near their home in rural Kansas. As the child grows, it becomes clear he has terrible powers that he is not afraid to use.
A good supervillain horror film written by Mark and Brian Gunn, produced by James Gunn (Mark is a cousin of brothers, Brian and James) and directed by David Yarovesky.
