These Lake Superior agates were found by Michael, in Minnesota (I assume). Agates are the state gemstone of Minnesota and come in many different shapes, sizes, and variety! We cut open many agate varieties in this lapidary video. Lake Superior agates are also estimated to be 1.2 billion years old, which is pretty amazing, although an estimate, it is fun to think about that we are the first to see what is inside these amazing minerals! Thanks for sharing that with me!.
