The intention of this video is to look into the evil backstory of volkswagen . Since it's inception in the 1930s Volkswagen has been through a few scandals. From the emissions scandal to others, the history books have been busy for volkswagen . More interesting though is the origin story of the brand. Unknown to many, the brand has origins in nazi germany and ww2 . The then governing nazi party of germany wanted to create an affordable & reliable car ... this was where the name came from as vw simply means the peoples car. The problem with this genius concept however is that the brand was created at the commission of adolf hitler and the nazis. More importantly, the famous volkswagen beetle was designed by Ferdinand porche ... yes, that's right. The founder of porche also plays a part in this surprising story.
