This video is a revision of an earlier video made 2 years ago. The older version received a copyright claim due to music used within it, so I took the opportunity of revisting and improving it for republication.

One of the joys of being grandparents is watching our grandchildren mature and guiding them the best we can as they do.

Our grandson in this video is First Nations treaty status (like his grandmother), so we try to teach him the skills and knowledge required involved in hunting - things that will serve him well once he reaches adulthood. As we are blessed with eleven grandchildren in all, this is quite an on-going matter!

In this video we show him a number of things including: a) how to pluck, gut and singe a Canada Goose b) how to handle and shoot a .22 rifle (safely, always watching muzzle direction) c) how to cross streams/difficult terrain and d) how to spot signs of moose (browsed twigs, prints, droppings temperature).
