Humankind’s best friends stole the show at Elysian Impact’s Inaugural CatWalk FurBaby fashion show on Friday (February 10) in Manhattan. The event brought designers, models, rescue animals and charities together for a morning of fashion and fundraising for animal welfare organizations. Ten models wearing outfits designed by the likes of Nicole Miller, Victor de Souza, Brook Wilder and others graced the runway with four-legged companions. Dr. Christina Rahm, CEO of DRC Ventures, the event’s lead sponsor, manages various brands including a couture luxury pet and human fashion line. “We created a supplement line and a protective clothing line as well for animals, even horses, where they can really clean the inside of their bodies, protect their bodies and supplement their bodies, so again, future generations of animals are healthier and I wanted them to look fashionable,” she said backstage ahead of the show.
