The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto attended the 2 2 meeting between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Indonesian-Australian Ministry of Defense. During the meeting Prabowo emphasized Indonesia's desire to become the anchor of regional security.The meeting took place in Canberra Australia on Thursday (9/2/2023). Prabowo accompanied by Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi met with the Australian Defense Minister as well as Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles MP and Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong. "I think we really want to be the anchor of peace and prosperity in the region " said Prabowo as quoted from his official statement.
