Lightning Bolt 59-Rend Your Heart

As a culture, our hearts are nearly fossilized to stone by pride, divided loyalties, hardness of heart, self-absorption and unforgiveness. More than we know, His Holy Spirit is like fire coming to purge, to consume in judgement, to bring conviction of our own failings, to break our hearts with how we have harmed others and violated His heart, or stood by and allowed it to happen. He is ready to raise us up, but can only do so if we rend our hearts and open up to receive His restoration, justice and healing. Let His fire come!
