In this video we are making handles for the ferro rods. The handles were turned down on the machine lathe and drilled to fit. The handles are made from micarta which is the same material the knife handles were made from. The holes were tapped 1 1/2" giving them plenty of strength. The "Giveaway" information is also mentioned along with the public vote as to which knife will be the most popular. That will be the knife to forge and video.
