Do You Ever Ask Yourself

One of the most amazing things about human beings is the fact that we can observe ourselves and the world around us, and we can use Reason & Compassion to identify the facts of Reality, and we can work together to build a better world, and we can choose not to hurt anybody in the process. But it seems like a lot of people who consider themselves enlightened independent thinkers never actually question their own thoughts, words and actions, and they never question the thoughts, words and actions of anyone on the "approved" list, and never ask why things are the way they are, or what are the underlying presuppositions and the logical and perhaps inevitable outworkings and results of thoughts and words and actions and courses of action. We each should judge ourselves very carefully, before we turn harsh judgment towards anyone else.
