Putting value in the word “hear”

The start of getting your dog to come is to “load” the word “Here”.

We are going to transfer value of good treats to the word. This is called “classical conditioning”. The goal is that when she hears the word “here” or whatever word you choose, she will salivate. Honestly, she will associate good things with that word. Pavlov is the father of classical conditioning. (Look for a short video of Pavlov for reference)

GUARD at his word. Only use it when you want her to come to you. Be clear, when you say here. She MUST come.

If the word is “loaded” (value of food is transferred) her head will whip towards you when she hears the word.
