Gary Emineth is joined by long-time AP reporter Dale Wetzel to give an in-depth analysis of the North Dakota Legislative Session. They review the week that was, and give a preview of things watch in the upcoming week. Some of the issues they discuss are the different tax proposals being put forth including and flat rate 1.5% income tax, an increase of the State sales tax, industry tax and a child care tax credit. They also discuss some transportation bills including a recently passed bill to increase the speed limit on the Interstate Highways in North Dakota, proposed increases to traffic fines and some DUI laws.
