An UNBELIEVABLE pleochroic gemstone // Lapidary Polishing

I take an unbelievable gemstone, called iolite, and polish it on my lapidary unit, my 8" CABKING. This process took a little over an hour and was so enjoyable! We had to take a few steps back right out of the gate during this polishing process but it was well worth it because our polished cabochon turned out so well and the pleochroism is truly a wonder to see! Thank you Dan for gifting me this iolite!
