In this DIY, we are milling slab wood on the Norwood portable sawmill for roofing material on the timber frame construction for the cabin in the woods in the Great Smoky Mountains. The slab wood is placed back on the sawmill to cut off the live edge and make more usable build material. We cut both 2x6's and 1x4's and completed the order for the roof construction.
