In this DIY video, I am at the basecamp in the Great Smoky Mountains during a snowy day doing a little campfire cooking over the fire pit and carving a wooden spoon from dogwood with my new woodcarving tool kit. Carving is a great past-time and very relaxing to do. It was a good time in the woods hanging out with the subscribers and great food. Stay tuned for more bushcraft this year and building up the permanent basecamp and the timber frame cabin.
