In this video we travel to Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Tennessee, to visit the attractive fall colors. This is the time of year that animals are very active and the colors of the changing of the season are both on point in preparation of the coming winter. We video the mountains, trees, plants, animals, cabins, barns and other out houses built in the early 1800's. Timber frame, dovetail, v-groove and saddle notching can be seen in the construction of the buildings. A real treat going back in time a few hundred years to s more simple and peaceful way of life.
