In this diy video, we continue to construct the cabin in the woods in the Smoky Mountains using both modern and traditional hand tools but are starting another project of building an outdoor forest kitchen in preparation of better tasting food cooked over the grill and in the earthen oven. My daughter and I stake the tomatoes in the garden, and then I make and set the forms for the fire pit and dig the holes for the earth oven platform. It is coming along well and hope you follow us through the complete building videos to the final stage of the cabin, outdoor forest kitchen, basecamp and future barn on the homestead.
