In this video we modify a boom extension on the Kubota L3901 for the timber frame construction in the woods. This off grid cabin is designed with mortise and tenon joinery.The new extension will allow us to reach 18 feet into the air. The center posts for the cabin are 16 feet tall and we needed a way to lift the centers beams between the posts into place. This will allow for easier construction and less chance of getting hurt in the process.
