In this DIY timber framing video, we continue to construct the cabin in the woods using both modern and traditional hand tools using mortise and tenon basic frame work and milling the siding from yellow pine in 1x10 in board. This will make a nice contrast to the poplar post and beam that have been pretreated by being burnt, and with a light stain and some flame brushing on the siding it should stand out well. I am finishing the landscape grading to drain water away from the footer and do a little campfire cookout before stacking the siding to air dry. It is coming along good. Follow us through the complete build to the final stage of the cabins basic frame work.
