Look Like Jesus-Unrepentance and Once Saved Always Saved

Hey! I wanted to let you know that we've really been enjoying the pieces you've been putting on Facebook.

I have two questions for you, which in text might be too lengthy to respond but if you could just point me in a direction, that would be helpful.

In your sermon 2 Sundays ago, you mentioned 1 Corinthians, 5:11 I believe, about the brother or sister who is in unrepentant sin and then in your writing about forgiveness, it says to treat them as a gentile or tax collector. I don't think I've ever heard a sermon about creating that boundary in a relationship, it's always been about pursuing those doing wrong, "because Jesus is all about love and mercy, no matter how many times you sin, and he hung out with sinners" type. So how do you apply this practically? Would this extend to your family?

My second question would be, do you believe that "once saved, always saved"? In my own personal study I've come across verses that say things that sound like you could fall from grace, but also in that passage where Paul (?) says that he gave them over hoping that they would have salvation on the day of the Lord.

So sorry it's so lengthy. Please respond, or point me in a direction, at your convenience
