New York Magazine and the Daily Beast broke the news last night. Disney+ lost over 2 million subscribers last year — the largest hit in its history. CEO Bob Iger agreed to step down within two years while the large, woke company is restructured. On Friday, Governor DeSantis signed a bill to dissolve Disney’s “independent special district” in June 2023. DeSantis-haters saw this as retaliation for Disney's public stance against Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Act. Women's sports advocate Riley Gaines is calling on the NCAA to establish separate locker rooms for transgender athletes. Gaines and her teammates were forced to undress in front of University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas after a meet last year. Thomas exposed himself to Gaines and her teammates, making her incredibly uncomfortable.
