There are many different breeds of cats that are native to or have been developed in various countries around the world. Here are some examples of cat breeds from different countries:
United States: American Shorthair, Siamese, Maine Coon, Bengal
Great Britain: British Shorthair, Scottish Fold, Cornish Rex
Japan: Japanese Bobtail, Siamese
Germany: Sphynx, Bengal, Siamese
France: Chartreux, Persian
Russia: Russian Blue
Egypt: Egyptian Mau, Siamese
Sweden: Swedish Vallhund
Norway: Norwegian Forest Cat
Turkey: Turkish Angora
