Artist Bio: The Bliss Machine – the definite article, you might say is an American three-piece experimental collaboration originally formed in Chicago in the early 90s.
The band blends rock genres into a grungy-funky-trippy bouillabaisse with a unique brash sound at times a perturbed fusion of improvisation, noise and the spoken word, i.e. rock’n’roll. With roots in funk, punk, disco and metal it is something other than else.
Inactive since the Great Pause of ’92, The Bliss Machine founders rebooted in the spring of 2021. The core duo of EZD and Bliss Master D got back at it and have been joined by new bassist Eric G.
Re-energized with a fresh bottom-end and plenty of ideas, The Bliss Machine is focused on making new tunes and rerecording the best of their earlier work (with better equipment this time around).
