Spring is a great time to see beautiful wildflowers in California.

If you are in LA, instead of driving an hour or more to see vast displays, just stop by Griffith Park for a quick visit to see them.

Park at the Greek Theatre (Lot G), cross the street and start up the clearly marked Riverside Trail. In about 15 - 20 minutes, you will see a patch of an abundance of wildflowers. There’s a small trail off to the right. It’s a beautiful detour trail with a skyline view of Downtown Los Angeles.

The wildflower display is likely to get better as the season continues. So enjoy!
