A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket

The film adaptation of Lemony Snicket's (aka Daniel Handler) best-selling book series, A Series of Unfortunate Events, stars Tony and Emmy Award winner Neil Patrick Harris and tells the story of Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire, orphans whose evil guardian Count Olaf will do anything to claim their inheritance. In order to uncover clues to their parents' tragic demise, the siblings must outsmart Olaf at every turn by thwarting his numerous cunning strategies and disguises. Barry Sonnenfeld, a recipient of an Emmy Award, and Daniel Handler served as executive producers of the eight-episode Netflix original series. Netflix now has A Series of Unfortunate Events available for streaming. Exercise caution since disaster is inevitable.
