Yesterday the weather was almost spring-like in Vernon. Today, an early morning snowfall caught some drivers by surprise. Pleasant Valley Road was extremely slippery resulting in several minor accidents. Reports of several cars and possibly even a school bus leaving the road kept first responders busy for much of the early morning. By noon most of the snow had melted. No serious injuries were reported
