@ - “A living art exhibit”

I thought I would share this with you here. I haven’t used this site before. I’ve created this character I play when selling my artwork, and in a way it’s sort of a living art exhibit that shows how people react to human kindness. Whether it be to take advantage of it or to embrace and respect it.

Here’s the description of the video:

“ I’m @, and this is my story.

When I was entering the darkest time in my life, I started making art. I noticed the world was too, and I wanted to create something beautiful. Something that’s made it feel like that in a place so cold, that there is one warm little place you can come to and feel a positive energy.

Which is where @ came in. What was initially a mockery of capitalism(where all are expected to remain professional yet joyful) and an excuse for a nerdy engineering student to evade the troubles of social anxiety, turned into a warm little character that both @rooseveltrowcdc and the people of all ages and backgrounds who walk by on 2nd and 5th street, on the first Friday of each month, warmed up to and came to love and enjoy.
