Get ready for the next epic rifle series! This time we're heading for the mile marker, and the long range Savage 12FV in 6.5 Creedmoor will get us there for around $1000.

(This is a re-post to fix some problems.)

If you want to work along with me, here are the parts I'll be using:
1. 6.5 Creedmoor Savage 12FV from Cabela's
2. Weaver 20-MOA Base: https://amzn.to/2yBDBB8

There are a lot of great options right now on the optics market. We'll take a close look at each of these new candidates for a 1 Mile scope:

And don't forget some of the optics we've tested before! These tried-and-true scopes will get the job done:
1. Bushnell HDMR II 3.5-21x50mm: https://amzn.to/2kTqKmF
2. Bushnell XRS II 4.5-30x50mm: https://amzn.to/2C5k4NN

Recommended ammunition:
1. Federal American Eagle 140-grain OTM

I will mostly custom load 6.5 Creedmoor ammunition for the 12FV using these components:
1. Hornady BTHP Bullets 140-grain
2. Hornady ELDM Bullets 147-grain
3. Speer Gold Dot Bullets 140-grain
4. Speer Hot-Cor Bullets 140-grain
