How Do We Train ICU Nurses for Intensive Care at Home so Clients Can Get the Best Quality of Life at Home?
The grammar of this sentence implies training is our preference, and Intensive care at home would be happy to send nurses without training.
Safety issues aside, how would you envision the shift working? if my spouse isn't available, and I have no way of communicating, what would the ICU nurse do?
would I stay in bed the whole time?
I know there are other Intensive Care at Home clients in a similar situation (complex care, can't communicate without special equipment) If those clients don't insist on training how do they manage new nurses?
