Can AI Help Us Find Extraterrestrials? 🤖 #shorts

Faust Checho dives into a new artificial intelligence program that might be the first AI technology built to help us locate extraterrestrials residing in far-away parts of our galaxy.

The AI algorithm was created by researchers at the University of Toronto who programmed it to use machine learning to help scientists at SETI Institute distinguish between potential extraterrestrial signals in space and the human-caused signals on Earth.

Although still being tested, the algorithm found 8 potential signals of interest all within 100 light years of our galaxy so it’s time to fuel our rocket ships and discover who’s really out there in our universe.
