Canada: Federal Govt announces organization to direct Black-Led Endowment Fund – February 8, 2023

On Parliament Hill, Ministers Ahmed Hussen (housing and diversity and inclusion) and Marci Ien (women and gender equality and youth) announce that the Foundation For Black Communities (FFBC) has been selected to administer the federal $200-million Black-Led Philanthropic Endowment Fund. The ministers are joined by Paul Chiang (parliamentary secretary to housing minister), Arielle Kayabaga (MP for London West), Gladys Ahovi (president and CEO of the FFBC) and Djaka Blais-Amare (chair of FFBC).
