A Former Lesbian Recounts Her Journey Into, and Back out of Same-Sex Attraction | 5th Summit

Charlene Cothran was a founder of the prominent pro-Lesbian magazine "Venus." For years she had promoted the Lesbian lifestyle as the best way to arrange a life and insisted that society accept this lifestyle and that the adherents could express their sexuality brazenly and openly in public without shame or remorse. And yet there she was, in the middle of a gay pride parade, in the middle of New York, realizing that she no longer wanted to live this lifestyle or promote it. She felt trapped and rushed to leave the event. This is her story.
