1. “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬

a. Guarantee-a promise or assurance , especially one given in writing that attests to the quality of a product or service

2. Once sealed Holy Spirit comes in with goodies

a. Verse 17 the spirit of wisdom and revelation

i. Holy Spirit- “He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.” John‬ ‭16‬:‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬‬

ii. God has laid up spiritual blessings for us in his Son the Lord Jesus; but requires us to draw them out and fetch them in by prayer.

b. Verse 18. The eyes of your understanding (heart) being enlightened

i. That you may know the hope of His calling

ii. Riches of The glory of His inheritance in the saints

a. Vs 7 riches of His grace 2:7

b. Vs 18 riches of the glory

c. 2:4 rich in mercy

d. Vs 19 exceeding greatness of His power

i. Only for those who believe

3. Access by the Spirit. 2:18 for through him we both have access by one spirit to the Father

a. 3:8-21
