The Blood of Christ speaks of the WORK of CHRIST on the cross; blood represents the judgement of our sins while Christ was bearing them on the cross.
1 Peter 1:18-19 "knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, 19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ."
The phrase “blood of Christ” is a representative analogy (metaphor) to animal sacrifices in the Old Testament, demonstrating the fact that the work of Jesus Christ was presented by means of blood sacrifices.
