Soli Deo Gloria: For the Glory of God Alone

The final element of the “Five Solas of the Reformation” is “Soli Deo Gloria” (for the glory of God alone). Ecclesiastes 12:13 teaches that the whole duty of man can be summed up in devoting oneself to God. The way to true meaning in life is to live for God’s glory rather than for self.
