Attention Prayer Warriors | Trafficking Victim Prayer Request

"Friends and family, I need your help..

Two weeks ago "C" a 19 year old Christian young woman who is a friend of our family, suddenly abandoned her own family, her job, her college classes and all that she has known to follow an older adult on "mission"

We now know that over a period of months and possibly years, the older woman "H" has filled C with lies about C's family. H has also indoctrinated C with alternative doctrine that opposes God's word. H took C in the middle of the night, both of them abandoning all physical belongings and taking nothing but the clothes they were wearing and their cell phones.

Within hours C had deleted her Facebook and social media accounts and tossed her phone. She is one who lived on social media and daily interactions with her friends. The police were able to locate them a day later by pinging H's phone, but H was able to convince the police all was fine and since C was over 18, the two of them were allowed to leave.

Since C has gone, we have determined the following:
1. H has contacted more than one individual claiming that she will be translated into heaven like Enoch and is impatient for this event although the date keeps changing.
2. H has reached out to contacts of H, C and C's family to ask for lodging, money and/or for contacts to join the "mission".
3. Before they left, C and another young adult were sent by H to Miami to attempt to recruit friends as followers.
4. H has sent text messages to others declaring that C and herself were "on the run"
5. H has also sent texts predicting deaths to C's family.
6. H and C were in FL but have also been briefly seen in Dallas, TX by fellow contacts.

Most often the term groomer is associated with those who attempt to exploit youth for evil, vile purposes. While I cannot speak to H's motives in this, her actions and words were clearly manipulative and deceitful, and thus I am considering C groomed.

Please join me in praying for C. God needs to awaken her to the lies H has perpetrated. Pray that God will cause C to want to return to her family and that C will realize she will be welcomed home. Pray that the grasp H has on C will be removed physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Pray that God will place angels and followers of Christ in a position to rescue C. Until that moment, pray for C's family to be surrounded and lifted up by God's faithful and loving arms.

This is the family's first attempt via me as proxy to reach out and ask for support. In the future, I may be given permission to disclose real names and physical attributes to aid in freeing C as the family is in contact with a trafficking consultant.
