USA Today wrote an article describing last night’s State of the Union address in ridiculously glowing terms for Dear Leader. What a shock that you almost always tell the type of coverage you’re going to read just by identifying the outlet it came from.

If journalism is about uncovering truth, why do all the journalists conform their coverage to pre-arranged narratives?

Also, SOTU pageantry is gross. These are regular people, not “elites”.
