Turkey-Syria earthquake death toll rises to more than 11,000 @REAL TIME

More than 11,000 people are known to have died following a massive earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria on Monday.

Turkish officials have said 8,574 people have died in the country.

It is understood that the number of confirmed deaths so far in Syria is 2,662.
