South Africa - Cape Town - 23 January 2023 - The Western Cape ACDP hosted a protest outside parliament against a bill that seeks to decriminalize prostitution. Ferlon Christians, Western Cape leader of the ACDP said “You don’t want your daughter offered prostitution as a career choice.” The ACDP believes that families are the “fabric of society” and decriminalisation of prostitution would harm families. The only people that stand to benefit from the legalisation of prostitution are those in the drug trafficking and human trafficking trades. Photographer: Armand Hough. African News Agency (ANA)
