Backdoors from Strangers???

Scanning potentially malicious files before opening them is a good cybersecurity practice. While suspicious files should be avoided and never downloaded on your device, there are instances where it's unavoidable. Educating your co-workers, family and your community is important. Virustotal is a free service provided by Google where you can scan files, hashes, domains, and much more for malicious content (signature based).
