"Bendy Birch" power tool carving using the lathe. Large sculpture carved from spalted tree trunk.

This large wood carving was created with assorted power tools by hand from a large Birch Wood trunk with the assistance of the lathe. This piece features extensive spalting throughout the wood grave. The natural bark has been preserved throughout the live/natural edge of the piece that has been carved with 3 large "folds". Finished with Teak oil. This irregularly shaped piece is 24 inches across and 15 inches tall and weighs 15 pounds.
