Canada: NDP MP Charlie Angus and chiefs call for First Nations inclusion at health-care talks – Feb. 7, 2023

On Parliament Hill, NDP MP Charlie Angus joins Grand Chief Alison Linklater (Mushkegowuk Tribal Council) and Chief Gaius Wesley (Kashechewan First Nation) in calling for First Nations leaders to be included in health-care negotiations. The news conference comes ahead of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s meeting on health-care funding with Canada's premiers later in the day. (February 7, 2023)
