Gifts -vs- Character

Do you desire to be like Jesus or do you desire gifts? If you want to be like The King, it requires good character as well as spiritual gifts. We need the power of Holy Spirit to live holy and pure lives but we also need to desire to have good character.Show more

? Does God look at our gifts or does He look at our character?
? What does He see and hear?
? What is He looking for from His children?
? What moves The King's heart?

Be Holy
Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming. 14 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”
