Paper features two redheaded kids called Lachie in quick succession. What are the odds?

I think this was meant to evoke Luca, another redheaded kid who was flattened by ScoMo on the Tasmanian soccer field. Only days later another redheaded Lachie around the same age was featured. This could not have been by chance.
