Earthquake in Syria and Turkey

Russian Defence Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu gives instructions to Commander of Russian Group of Forces in Syria to provide assistance in eliminating consequences caused by earthquake

◽️ The Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides has deployed 6 humanitarian aid distribution posts in Aleppo, Hama, Jabla, Stamu, and Bustan al-Basha.

◽️ Personnel of the Russian Group of Forces in the Syrian Arab Republic have formed 10 joint detachments, tasked to remove debris, search for victims, and provide them with medical aid in the mostly damaged areas.

◽️ Over 300 personnel, and 60 military and special vehicles are involved in the works.

◽️ A mobile group of Russian military healthcare professionals, 4 blood donation posts, as well as a joint coordination headquarters have been established at Hmeimim Air Base to provide assistance to the Syrian side.
