Dr. Carol Baker is the executive director of the Center for Vaccine Awareness and Research at the Texas Children's Hospital.
She was also appointed to serve as Chair of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) by Kathleen Sebelius, U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services for a short time in 2009/2010.
