House GOP's weaponization of the federal gov. subcommittee announces first hearing

A subcommittee tasked with investigating the weaponization of the federal government announced its first hearing, to take place on Thursday, since Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) agreed to its creation. Led by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), who also chairs the House Judiciary Committee, the panel is set to examine allegations of bias at the Justice Department, the intelligence community, and other departments of the federal government that conservatives say have worked to silence Republicans.
