Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy - Video Game Review

Welcome to my thoughts on/review of Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy! Released in 2020 on the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC, Atelier Ryza 2 takes everything that I loved about the first game and improves it. Instead of having a bit of an overwhelming crafting system like the first game had, the sequel adds a Skill Tree so that you can pick and choose which new items you would like to craft first. The combat is also enhanced by having action commands, so that you are not just sitting there mashing the X button. Pretty much every party member from the first game returns (minus Empel and Lila who are just npcs now), and I loved the new additions in Patricia, Clifford, Serri, and of course, Fi! Serri best girl by the way. I cannot wait for the release of Atelier Ryza 3, which is due to come out on March 24th. I will be doing an unboxing of the limited edition once it arrives at my house, so stay tuned for that.
