Girls Making Their Own Home Made Wooden Door

The older girls take a raw yellow cedar log and make their own home made wooden door. This is a beautiful piece of wood we've been saving for 3 years, waiting for the perfect project....and this is it, a solid yellow cedar door!

The girls have been making their own house for the last couple years and just moved in this summer. It's still not done but getting very close, with the door installed it will be completely closed up.

They first use the woodmizer LT15 to take a single 8' yellow cedar log into a handful of 2"x10" boards. Then its all sorts of figuring and fancy cuts on the table saw.... and BOOM.... a home made wooden door.
