Oliver Stone and his collaborators fully explores the legacy of President Lyndon Baines Johnson and President Richard Nixon as well as the Vietnam War that the United States got involved with during their terms as President.Aside from that,it also provided information about the counterculture era particularly 1968.Added to that,it also discussed the assassinations of Martin Luther King,the leader of the Civil Rights Movements; and Robert F.Kennedy,a Presidential candidate of the Democratic Party.Finally,the Watergate that President Nixon was involved in was also presented. As for the conspiracy discussed,it provides us information on how the CIA got involved with regards to paying anti-communist professors as well as people in the mass media in educating students and the people respectively about the ill effects of communism for the justification of the involvement of the United States in the Vietnam War.Also added is the actions of the FBI with regards to stopping the anti-Vietnam War movements and protesters
